Family Photography 101: Everyone loves cheese! Right?
Wrong! One of the worst things that parents can do to their photos, is teach their children to “cheese” for the camera! Why you ask? Because you end up with an over the top, fake, all teeth and no eyes, smiles. Next time you’re taking pictures of your child, tell them to relax, talk to them, and connect with them until they forget to pose for you. Natural expressions ALWAYS make for better pictures.

My first newborn of 2010! Well technically she’s a 2009 baby, born December 23rd . What a sweetie she was, slept the whole time and her big sister was just as good. There aren’t too many 2 year olds with the patience to hold a newborn! Thanks so much Carolyn & Mark, and congrats on your new addition! A little belly shoot before we get to baby…

It’s almost here and I’m completely unprepared! yikes! I’m going to keep this short so I can head out to START my shopping.

Preview! I thought this snow shoot was a perfect preview for the holidays, such a cute and fun family. I really don’t know how I get so lucky to have such great clients!
