Family Photography 101: Everyone loves cheese! Right?

Wrong! One of the worst things that parents can do to their photos, is teach their children to “cheese” for the camera! Why you ask? Because you end up with an over the top, fake, all teeth and no eyes, smiles. Next time you’re taking pictures of your child, tell them to relax, talk to them, and connect with them until they forget to pose for you. Natural expressions ALWAYS make for better pictures.

Happy New Year!

My first newborn of 2010! Well technically she’s a 2009 baby, born December 23rd . What a sweetie she was, slept the whole time and her big sister was just as good. Merry Christmas!

It’s almost here and I’m completely unprepared! yikes! I’m going to keep this short so I can head out to START my shopping.

Little Wyatt was born November 4th and I had the pleasure of photographing him on his 2 week birthday. He was such a good little boy, slept very soundly as you can see!

Newborn session are best done within the first 2 weeks of birth so if you’re expecting or know someone who is, make sure to contact me before the baby is born!Untitled-1

I was so lucky to have little Fiona travel down from Moncton a couple of weeks ago. She was the easiest newborn I’ve had yet, we finished up in a record time of 2.5 hours! Congrats Lisa and Joel on your gorgeous little girl! Hope you love your images!Untitled-1
