Where? UNB SJ, Irving Hall, room 101
When? Feb 15, 6:30 – 9pm
What is this seminar about?
Just the basics! Any camera is capable of taking a good photo, so I’m going to teach you the basic principles behind it. Topics will be covered in a VERY easy to understand way, and I won’t be bombarding you with tons of technical information. Keeping it simple and giving you real life situations and examples will help you apply your new found knowledge.
Topics we’ll touch on will be exposure, aperture, focus, metering, ISO, lighting, composition and creativity.
What this seminar is not…
Because of the large range of cameras, this class will not be about teaching you how to find every setting on your camera. That’s what your manual is for!
This class is not for anyone who has already taken formal photography classes. My simpleton explanations are sure to make you cringe. Beginners only!
FAQ
I only have a point & shoot camera. Is this for me?
It’ll be easier to take control of your camera if you have a dslr, but point and shoot owners can benefit from this class just as much!
What should I bring?
Bring your camera, lenses and manual (if you still have it).
What is the cost?
The cost will be $39 per person. Payment will be due by Feb 8th. Email money transfers can be sent to victoria@victoriawestphotography.com, please set the password as basics.
