Photo Tip #1

Direct sunlight is not your photo friend! Get in the shade, it makes a HUGE difference! If you’re somewhere where there isn’t shade, have your subject turn their back to the sun…this is called backlighting (oooh! Pretty technical stuff). I used backlighting in this image. The lower the sun is, the easier this becomes.
